Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has a pink cloud that follows it everywhere. You seem to be having more difficulty concentrating since it arrived.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Mimpii is a very calm, quiet Hatchling. Her name means "dream" in Indonesian, and she spends much of her time doing just that. She's not very good at making dreams for other people yet, so she practices on herself-- and then is surprised when hours have gone by and she didn't realize it! She can often be seen with an intense look of concentration on her little face as she tries to construct some lovely fantasy to bestow on unwary passerby, although she often misses her mark and the person is just disoriented for a moment before continuing on her way. Mimpii is never discouraged by this, however, and goes right back to work.
