Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
The crust fragments covering most of Betelgeuse's body are made of igneous rock and they always change state depending on the dragon's mood. If Betelgeuse is angered, his temperature rises exponentially which causes the crust to melt. When he calms down, the crust hardens again. The dragon was named after a dying red star that makes up for the right shoulder of Orion in the winter night sky. Unusually, he worships this star every night because he knows the star is dying.
