Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Hatchlings have the boldest imaginations, their tiny minds capable of seeing connections where none exist. They can weave fantastic tales of danger and adventure with nothing more than scraps of eggshell and dead leaves for props, turning the protective wall of their nest into a whole other land no one else can see. But as they age, their minds turn away from these silly games as they learn the world is not everything it seems to be. Imagination is funneled into some other task or stifled altogether.

But Azuraline refuses to let go of the child inside of her. She still dances around like a hatchling, lost in her own fantasies. Many regard her as immature or simply insane, but she takes no notice of these insults. Instead she reminds them of their own hatchlinghood, when they had sung and twirled without a single care just for the sheer fun of it. Despite her childish demeanor, she is capable of acting in a serious manner; she just often chooses not to.
