Avatars of Change are unpredictable, exuberant dragons whose unique connection to magic has saturated their entire bodies. It is said that possessing one of their iridescent scales can change one’s fate, and many have sought the favor of these dragons hoping to receive a scale as a gift.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Guardanio Changeona is the third Avatar to protect his home cave. Changeona considers all other Guardians, even if they don't live in his home cave, brothers and sisters. Even though his friends think he is the most beautiful dragon they've ever seen, he doesn't think the same. Guardanio thinks everyone is equal on the inside, as well as the outside. He had once said that no dragon, or human, is better than the other. His saying is used quite often around his home cave, and no matter what, he will always go by his own words.
