Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Curious Ice, or Curio, as the others have dubbed him, was snatched up in a great rush by the human caretaker. Apparently, she too had fallen under the influence of the newly discovered species of dragons. Along with Rowath, he wanders around the area, searching for others of his species.

Naturally inquisitive, he spends most of his free time pondering over the finer things in life, such as whether or not chickens are indeed tasty. He wishes to know because he's never even been near one. Sadly, chickens are not part of his species' normal diet, so he'll just have to keep wondering what exactly these 'chickens' taste like.
