Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Domineering. Violent. Intimidating. Dangerous.

These are qualities Jestia prizes. Too bad she only has three out of four.

For Jestia is about as dangerous as a goose down pillow. For starters, every single freakin' time she tries to hurt someone, she ends up doing the exact opposite. Sure her claws cut through their skin, but their wounds are instantly healed and actually they end up better than they were. She can't even touch another dragon without instantly making any and all afflictions the dragon was suffering from vanish. It would be a healer's dream, the kind of effect she has on creatures. But most certainly not hers.

The worst is the fact that for every time she heals another, it takes copious amounts of energy out of her to do it. She's a little freaked that one day she'll go asleep and never wake up because a bunch of idiots mass around her as she snoozes.

At least she can praise the lord she doesn't have her mother's power of attracting fluffy woodland creatures.
