Serrati Wyverns are a fierce breed of dragon typically found in volcanic areas or in desert scrubland. With their keen vision, these fearsome predators can pick out well-camouflauged prey from the slightest movement. They are named for the double rows of serrated teeth that line their beaks, which allow these wyverns to maintain an unbreakable grip on prey while they tear into their target with deadly hooked claws. Though these dragons are combative with nearly everything, they are surprisingly well-mannered when raising their offspring in communal nests. Males, however, tend to be chased off as soon as eggs are laid.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Whenever his shrieks are heard, the majority of dragons and humans in the area hasten to take cover. While he usually has no real interest in eating anything besides his favourites: buffalo, large fish, and the occasional Mint dragon for good breath, he enjoys seeing the look of terror on others faces when they spot him. One thing that can make him uncontrollably angry is when another male tries to move in on his lady, Ctuzi. Those foolish enough to try rarely escape a horrible death.
