Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Karbyn and Snowmountain Shadow are another set of reunited cousins in the group. Both traced their bloodlines back to a set of gold and silver grandparents. They seem to enjoy this royal familial bond as if friends with a shared secret. The two aren't inseparable, but are nevertheless close friends, and tend to sit by each other during any sort of meeting, usually exchanging jokes or silent grins. Karbyn is the prankster. He's honed his fighting skills into the playful art of pulling tricks on the other dragons, always trying to be more cunning, while getting a laugh from his friends. He stays well away from any harmful pranks, though it wouldn't be surprising if he tried them with an enemy in battle.
