When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ahab is one of the residents of the Great Lakes and a veritable heroine. Usually Ahab tried to stay to herself and not bother anyone except for one day following the lovely songs of Queen of the Waves—a resident Undine dragoness. She wasn't the only one lured by Queenie's songs. A young Pillow dragoness was so enthralled by the music that she actually came to close to the steep cliff and fell in. Seeing the young Pillow struggle and being dragged down by her quickly soaking fur, Ahab raced to the drowning lady and pulled: first her head over water and then the whole dragoness to dry ground.

Saving Floof Floof's life has formed an almost unbreakable bond between these two unlikely companions as well as the Red Klimbim who aided the poor drenched Pillow afterwards.
