Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Unlike the other hatchlings, this one hatched with wings.

And look! Its back legs have become a second set of wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This little one had just grown in his back wings when he was frozen so that he could not mature.His fellow hatchlings tried to cheer him up but they could not becuase soon after they became adults.But later the hatchling saw the good side of the freezing.He was kept well fed by the adults and could fly as long as he  wanted without having to help watch over the eggs.He soon grew to be as happy as he once had been.He learned more tricks to do in the air then any other hatchling.He was warm,safe and he knew he would be happy for the rest of his life.
