Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Agricarbix lurks within a cave,

Her silver glow inviting in a way

Which melts the guard of those who should be brave

And makes one want to wander in and stay

As if it were a peaceful place to play.

That make the readied weapon-arm go slack.

Like her lurker forefathers, the bones

That Agricarbix loves to carve and stack

Surround the cavern, thicker than the stones.

And yet, unwary wanderers still come

And Agri, like a cavern lurker, kills.

She doesn't like it much, but she's not dumb:

If she let someone go, they'd bring such ills

As dragon-slayers. She's made her heart numb.
