It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

PrettyVioletLilac is a Purple Dragon with an odd passion. She is "in love" with a tree. Truly it is a magical talking tree, but it is still very strange for other dragons in her cave. PrettyVioletLilac came upon the Joshua Tree in a small oasis in the desert, he used to be a dragon, a proud Black male—then a witch cursed him after he stole and ate her sheep. He flew as far away from the mage as he could, but he couldn't outrun the curse. As he flew over the desert, Joshua Tree became stiff and still, he plummeted to the ground and found himself rooted. It was 2000 years later that PrettyVioletLilac found him. They mentally talk all day and night when they can. It might seem odd, but PrettyVioletLilac is deeply in love with her tree.
