Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

WindWings is gentle unless provoked. She can stay up in the air for a long time, but she often prefers to explore the lands below, floating just above the tree canopies. To her greatest pleasure, humans are kind enough to leave out small toys for her, which she'll play with until she feels the need to return to flying in the sky. She'll often tire herself out with these games, and lands frequently. She has been trustworthy enough to leave Prowling Plains due to the fact that she always returns. She scarcely leaves though; she enjoys herself in Prowling Plains more than most other places. She was found as a young hatchling, calling for her mother. She became the first in Prowling Plains and has taken over the skies in her silly games.
