Water Walkers are small dragons that are frequently found around bogs and ponds. While they are flightless, they retain the flight sacs and hollow bones of their airborne cousins. These traits, coupled with their extraordinarily long, webbed toes, allow them to stand on top of calm waters, using their small sails to propel them wherever they please. They spend the majority of their lives on the water, retreating to the tops of lily pads when the waters become too rough to float atop.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Pondora likes to keep somewhat distant from the rest of the cave. When she is with them, she tries to blend into the background and silently observe the others. She loves the dragons of the cave, but they are not sure about her. With the exception of the other water-walkers, the dragons ignore and tease her. Pondora has gotten used to being the "freak" of the cave for her thoughts and behavior. To escape, she skates down a nearby river to a graveyard belonging to a human settlement. She feels at peace here, and spends many nights here communing with the spirits.

One evening, the spirits granted her a gift: a deep purple egg appeared in the place where Pondora sits. This egg hatched into the horse dragon called Sacraficiana. To show her gratitude for this gift of a daughter, Pondora brought her own egg to the graveyard and left it to the care of the spirits.
