Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It perfectly depicts autumn weather.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Toilis is a known member of the Autumn gang, of which there appear to be many, but only a few are confirmed. Toilis is possibly the most sociable of the Autumn gang, as his sightings are most frequent. There was one dragon that claimed to have a discussion with him. He is said to be rather charming, but young and obviously inexperienced. This dragon claimed to have their talk interrupted by another member of the gang, a hatchling, Evexbae. She had smacked him roughly with her foreleg, and, without a word, they had dived back into the forest, never seen again, like leaves in the wind.
