Dorsal Dragons are so named because they have large fins along their backs that can be raised and lowered at will. They use these fins to regulate body temperature; they raise them to cool off when they become overheated. The bright colors on the fins double as a means of attracting mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

"I Want To Be, The Very". This strange fragment of a sentence is often said by this dragon, who just won't discuss about it. Nobody knows what goes after 'very', though it has got them 'very' curious, indeed. Some speculate that 'best' comes after it, and others say that 'mysterious' might be a bit more fitting. One irritated dragon even remarked, "I'll tell you what goes after that: 'most annoying dragon ever who won't quit singing that and won't tell us why!" But in truth, I Want To Be The Very won't tell because it's her special song that she hums while she practices her hobby in her secret little cave: firing clay balls in a little stove and painting them red and white, with a black stripe running through the middle. Nobody has seen these peculiar clay balls, or the inside of her cave itself, but some nights, if they listen closely, they can hear a peculiar song:

"I want to be, the very best,

like no one ever was;

to catch them, is my real test,

to train them is my cause..."
