It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Amethyst was born in a village, far from anywhere important. However, as she grew up, she ran into a young Winter Seasonal dragon named Icicle. She went to live in the castle where his father and mother ruled and became a royal mage. She is often out of the castle, especially whenever banquets and parties are headed around, occasions that she despises for their tendency to get boring. No one can tell she is a mage unless they are confronted with her magic, and one hopes that the magic is not against them, because she has defeated Ilane the Magi dragon in a test once before. She loves the King, but of course, is separated from him by blood, something she detests, another reason she often is out of the castle. On nights when she is up late, she will stand on a ridge and sing out a haunting lullaby at midnight, the strands on her tail and head lighting up like iridescent strings.
