When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Mizuki Swift Fin is the fastest swimmer in the sea as her name implies. Others may try and challenge her, but she always manages to pull through with a win. This title has caused her to become haughty and her ego was grown larger than necessary and thus the issues she had with the mild Alistair. She does not care for the egg she had with him and blames him for the loss. She does the same with Reiannu even though it was clear Mizuki was at fault. Mizuki would like a permanent mate... If any dragon could put up with her ego.
