Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

As a hatchling Wyngwush was known a Wingrush, for her excellent flying maneuvers and grace. Even though she was a small hatchling, she enjoyed food more than most, constantly eating any new things. One day she found a delectable dead horse and presumably ate it, and being the curious hatchling she was, explored its pack's contents; inside she found a bottle of what she thought was a type of juice, and drank it hastily. Soon she discovered it was a strong acid, as her mouth started to bubble and disintegrate. Luckily she spit the liquid out and washed her mouth in a fresh stream nearby before any real harm could be done. The only injury that she took was to her tongue and flesh on the inside of her mouth; though magically healed, she has trouble talking and now all know her as Wyngwush. She seldom speaks now and is very cautious about the things she eats and drinks, though you can hear her mumble something like "dwa acif dwastif pwetty gwoods."
