When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Dayang Dagat is an ocean-going water dragon, as such, she and her mate, Lurker in the Depths, have grown to truly prodigious lengths. Dagat measures almost a league in length. Her habit of sunning herself on the surface has caused her scales to be encrusted with salt and the scales on top of her body to be bleached by the tropical sun. Bits of flotsam are entangled on the curious growths of seaweed that have established themselves in between some of her scales. Preferring the wide tropical seas, rarely does she approach land only venturing into secluded coves or seaside caves to lay her eggs. Although she is carnivorous, she has a soft spot for ocean going mammals and enjoys conversing with dolphins and whales.
