Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Velfarre Kite Dancing is a little sad that she can have no children of her own, but she manages to keep her mind occupied with other fun things. The other dragons in the cave consider her their little "mascot", and she does not mind at all. The ones who do not breathe fire like to play games with her by blowing her back and forth to each other and trying not to let her touch the ground. Sometimes she will let the hatchlings unfold her and make her into whatever they like, such as a kite or an origami swan.
