Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Behold, seeker of the dragon lore, Gondhril of the Geode dragons. Aside from the fact that her race can neither fly nor moves much in any way, there is another rather strange thing about the Geode dragons which makes some dragon experts claim that they are no real race at all but simply a mutation: Geode dragons are not only born when Geode dragons mate—they can also be the offspring of Stone dragons or Green dragons without any harm to their development—but it does not seem to work the other way around. In Gondhril's case, she is the offspring of both Green and Stone dragon which makes her a little more lively than regular Stone or Geode dragons, although this does not mean much in comparison to other dragon breeds. It might be the cause, though, why she actually mated with other dragon breeds in her first few mating seasons until she was attracted to the glittering wings of one of her own breed.
