When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
The Radioactive Lake is quite strange and unusual. His body glows faintly green at night, and for some reason, hatchlings sicken when they come close to him, and adults fall ill to a mysterious disease that The Radioactive Lake himself seems immune to. As a result, he normally lives by himself and away from his clan. Many dragons dislike him because of his sickness-inducing body, but the wiser dragons know it his not his fault. As a young water hatchling, The Radioactive Lake had to be moved out of the nursery, where he was causing the others to fall sick. The white dragons examined him, and they believe that he has inherited this mysterious quality from his parents. Ever since then, The Radioactive Lake has been given his own private pond, which, like him, is tainted a little green. Nobody knows why, but some speculate that the mysterious, green rock that The Radioactive Lake carries around with him has infected the lake with the sickening aura that The Radioactive Lake is infamous for.
