Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Epic has a very unusual diet for a Tinsel dragon: he only consumes bugs, insects and spiders. It's the only prey his mother ever brought home and Epic is not the type of dragon to argue with his mother's cooking—so to speak.

His life has become considerably less stressful since a few Black Teas joined the clan and he looks much healthier now that he gets enough food on a regular basis.
