Gold-horned Tangars are a brightly colored tropical breed. They are primarily herbivores, and eat a wide variety of fruits and flowers in addition to the occasional bird. Tangars are well suited to life in the trees; their slender bodies make them light enough to be supported by thinner branches and agile enough to avoid obstacles while flying. Their brightly colored horns, found in both males and females, are used to attract mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Sq8RR learned the importance of punctuality all too painfully as a young hatchling. Once, while perusing the undergrowth with certain members of his clan, he caught sight of a very interesting glimmer and decided to follow it to better discern what it was and where it was going. Not paying attention, it led him far from home. By the time he realized where he was it had become very dark out and he was still in the undergrowth. Desperately searching for the nearest tree to shimmy up, sudden movement from a nearby bush sprang at him making him screech and lower his head so his little horn might offer some form of protection. It turned out the movement from the bushes was his mother, upset he had lost his way. Sq8RR spent the rest of that night on his mother's back, listening to her lecture him about the importance of always making it back to the clan before dark. To this day Sq8RR wonders what that glimmer was, relishing the possibility it could have been some unknown nature sprite.
