Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Araxie is admired by her owner for her unyielding stubbornness. Her owner likes to tell the story of Araxie's apparent refusal to mature and then the time it took for her to reach adulthood. Now that Araxie has become an adult dragon, however, her previous stubbornness of moving water bodies before she matured forced her into a smaller lake rather than a suitable one. This is common for dragons of her sort, making it very difficult to convince her otherwise. Luckily, she has shown flexibility to being moved and is considering it for the sake of being able to swim freely with her owner, whom, despite her complaints, cares dearly for her dragon.
