Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Sunbeam Drakes are the diurnal counterparts to Moonglow Drakes, their eggs having been laid during the daylight hours. They are around the size of a small dog, and while docile, can be flighty and easily startled. Most can be found high in treetops enjoying the bright sunlight, tucking themselves away at the first sign of a storm or impending nightfall. Sunbeam Drakes enjoy flying in the light of the sun, and their treetop dances are beautiful, dazzling, and serene.
Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.
Glory is small for a non-pygmy dragon and very friendly. He has made friendly overtures to Lucius, the only other drake, but Lucius is not friendly toward him at all. Perhaps because Glory is a male Dayglory rather than the female Lucius had hoped to find. Glory still doesn't give up on him, however, and insists upon making friends with Lucius and all the other dragons in the cave. Unlike some others, he likes humans and greatly enjoys the pleasant treats his owner will occasionally feed him.
