Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is so full of energy that you have a hard time keeping up with it.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Ages ago, a young Dragon breeder felt great sadness, as all their eggs were dying. Even the hatchlings were dying, leaving the breeder all alone. Desperate for one to live, they cast a spell on the remaining hatchling, making it immortal and forever young. Alpha Sizzz-Shling may be old, but it is still young and energetic as ever. Alpha loves to play, though it is sad that it will never grow wings, or have a gender. Alpha still hones their skills, by racing around the cave and stalking insects and leaves. Because they never grew up, they are the size of a pygmy.
