Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Soozie Woozie was so named by her owner because the only thing that would calm her down as a hatchling was a drop of Ipocrase. Her owner always felt a little mean having to resort to such measures but owning a dragon that was on the go for 23 hours a day way rather exhausting. Ipocrase proved to be a very good remedy indeed. As soon as Soozie touched a single drop she would inevitably mumble I feel woozy then collapse into a deep sleep. Since growing to maturity she has learned to harness her boundless energy by becoming a fitness instructor and runs daily exercise classes for other Ochredrakes. It is always quite an entertaining site for locals of the town to watch Soozie Woozie and a group of other hyperactive dragons in an open field performing star jumps. In Soozies spare time she loves to sing about old myths and legends (although she doesn't fully understand them) and has a very light soprano voice.
