Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Smiffle the Hyperactive has a tendency of being hyper. Really hyper. So hyper, in fact, that he often careens into walls and flies up only to hit the cave ceiling. Sugary food has such an affect on him on him that his clan has to take measures to prevent him from eating it. They have made a list of food he cannot eat, which includes sugar canes, berries, sweet cakes and pies, and many other things. The white dragons always try to put spells on him to prevent his hyperactivity, but nothing they can do will stop him. So Smiffle lives a sad, gray life without any sugar, forced to eat disgusting things like corn and potatoes and stuff that, in his opinion, should probably stay in the ground.
