When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Waters Origin Secret was cave born and had never actually came into contact with humans until he was left by his mother. He ran into a female human tending to floating gardens in his lake.

The day was particularly windy and her scarf blew into the water. She searched for it, but WOS had already nabbed the fabric and swam off with it. He loved the scarf and tied it around his neck for adornment. Being the smart, curious dragon that he was he waited until the woman came out again with yet another scarf and tried to steal it, not realizing it was tied securely about her neck. WOS watched her stare at him as he tugged on the end of it. Though curious, WOS was wary of the human, as he was with all other creatures he met. The human gave him the scarf and many others after that he tied together to fit his growing girth.

WOS turned out a social, reliable dragon under the watch of his human keeper. He was distrustful of all except the keeper and the eventual female in his pond.
