Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

A very sweet, kindly cheese dragon, this one is very good at working with children. She attempted to convey this by writing a sign, but sadly her penmanship skills are a bit lacking, and a certain chef that passed by assumed the sign said 'good with crackers.' She WAS a cheese dragon, after all.

The poor creature was caught and brought to the kitchen to meet her doom, but there--as chefs are wont to do--the cooks in question instead ended up forming a bond with her, and happy to announce that the restaurant now had its very own cheese dragon (just like all the other fancy restaurants), began to attract loads more customers. This, in turn, brought in more children for the her to play with, and she lives a very happy life--although occasionally her cooks must rush out to swat away a marauder who tries to break off a piece of her for his crackers.
