Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Eternus Incendia is a member of the Fireheart clan. Her name means "Eternal Fire" in Latin. She is Fireflower's best friend and has been since they were hatchlings. She had a hard life as a little one. When she was only four months old, her parents were killed by a rogue dragon, and she was forced to fend for herself. Her hunts took her far away from Fireflower's territory. Eventually,grown up and searching for a new life, she ran into Fireflower one day while hunting. The two friends were overjoyed, and from that day have been inseparable.

    Eternus has a fiery temper, but she is good at heart. Most of the time she thinks before she acts. Other members of the Fireheart clan think she takes too many risks, but she doesn't care. She is searching for a soulmate, and she is convinced she'll find him soon. Eternus is smart and always alert, almost never relaxing. Sometimes she gets so worked up she picks fights with passing dragons, earning her an infamous reputation.
