Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its skin is smooth and doesn’t seem to have any color to it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Riddle me this is one of her standard greetings. Silvia Bones, after all, loves speaking rhymes and riddles. A great annoyance to her parents because of her hobbies, they leave her mostly to her own devices. She is fine with that, since it means more time to spend on her puzzles and mind games. She even makes up her own, constantly nagging her only friend, Africae Tropicae, with them.

Confusing her fellow dragons on a daily basis is her goal, and so far, she hasn't missed one day. Most of the time, she even speaks in riddles, and if not, it rhymes at least. Getting a straight answer out of her is close to impossible, and the last time it happened... well, that was before she became good at what she does. And anyway, she swore her friend to secrecy, so it's not like anyone other than her parents actually remember Those Days.
