Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Anicela's name is derived from the Polish names 'Aniela', meaning 'messenger of God' and 'Broncia', meaning 'protector of glory'. Growing up, Anicela was forced to live on her own after the death of her foster parents, who fled with her from their home when the king wanted all of the 'superior beings' destroyed. Anicela made her home in the Arctic north, often finding leisure by singing songs and strolling through the winter forests in which she helped to create.

When she had first met her owner, it was the first time she ever saw a human. She made many attempts to flee, but Anicela was much weaker than the human's dragons. Eventually, Anicela realized that the human meant no harm; she only wanted to be friends.

Anicela is much more timid than most other dragons. She often fills the area with song, and other dragons often join in. She can get quite angry if her name is pronounced incorrectly (it's An-eh-kay-la in case you ever run into her). She has grown extremely loyal to her owner.
