When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Liquaeus is the first and greatest water dragon to inhabit Tsalemar Lake, a thirty-square-mile body of water that houses all the water dragons of his house. The lake is stocked with innumerable fish, and Liquaeus is master of them all. His magical powers enable him to call smaller fish as food for those unable to hunt, and greater beings to defend him, should the dire need arise.

Liquaeus primarily occupies himself with the governing of his domain. He will interact with dragons of the land, the general cave his house belongs to, more than most water dragons, for matters official and political. He rarely has time for personal matters, as Tsalemar Lake requires great effort to manage to his satisfaction. He works, mostly alone, from an underwater fortification in the center of his domain.

Liquaeus is a powerful, dedicated, and hardworking ruler, an excellent lord of his element.
