White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

An old scribe of the complex dragon language (derived from the Elven tongue), Adeliene spends her long days on her lonely peak, filling scroll after scroll with storytellers' worn yarns. Her true love is poetry, and she writes these in a dragon form known as "Decklezdrenbe", following a complex syllable pattern: 3, 8, 2, 17, 3, 4, 9, 1, 4. While she has no mate, she liven in the company of a "tucurbenlea" (frozen or "eternal" hatchling), who never gendered and she named after this poetry style. Their tiny foreclaws are excellent at sprinkling the finishing sand over the ink, even if their lack of wings means she mush employ a different deliverer.
