Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Sarius is the Second-fastest in the clan and is jealous of the fastest dragon, Sesarehal. Sarius loves to play-fight and race his rival Sesarehal. He also loves to Race-hunt with Sesarehal. He often hates being bothered by the bored hatchlings and the bored nixen, whom he also considers a hatchling. Sarius wishes to have a nice girl and many children. He brags about how fast he is and how he could beat anyone else in a race.
