Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its skin is smooth and doesn’t seem to have any color to it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Heart is a sweet dragon, as well as reasonable. The poor girl has been through much grief. Her parents died at a young age, and she also had her dreams crushed by a large Albino name True Dream. True promised her he would take care of her, and make sure she had a happy life. But he lied, and ended up getting a Magi to freeze her, then abandoned her in the forest. Poor Heart didn't know what to do, but luckily Spyra found her and took her in.
