Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The vines of this dragon are in an unenviable state: some are stained, some are charred and a few have even been ripped in half. Completing the picture is Branika himself, with innumerable crisscrossing scars covering him from head to tail and a back leg which drags behind him on the few occasions when he surfaces.
Judging from appearance alone, it would be easy to get an entirely wrong impression of Branika's personality - in actuality, he is an amicable if quick-tempered dragon whose main flaw is an insatiable curiosity. His thirst for knowledge leads him to do such things as fashioning a makeshift kite out of twigs and flying it during a thunderstorm, or laboriously dissecting one of his own vines so that he can identify each of the individual parts.
His exasperated but affectionate friends generally find it best to indulge him and clean up the mess afterwards. Most of them agree that, had Branika been born in a different era, he would have made an outstanding scientist.
