Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Tired of being considered a ghost of the night Oklija wandered into a neighboring village; the people scattered at the sight of him. With the entire village to himself, he settled around the center fountain, every night letting himself be known with his usual eerie screech. After months of screeching every night and exploring the town by day, Oklija found a weary traveler, which had turned as white as he was with fatigue. Oklija nursed the man back to health, keeping him warm with his own body heat; eventually the man was revived and later returned to the neighboring towns to tell the story of Oklija. Soon the small town became crowded then built up and crowded again. Oklija and the man went away to find a more spacious and permanent residence.
