Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The eldest of Welcomes' three consorts, Sequential Drift is truly a creature that makes a lasting impression. Whether it is a positive impression or not entirely depends on the individual. He is besotted with his mate and deeply devoted to Carlos and W'nahi, perhaps with a zeal that the two males haven't quite earned. Sequential has taken up the role of caretaker to their offspring, making an effort to teach them of the heroes and legends of their breeds while they are under his wing. He is a father first and a poet second, spinning tales and songs for the entertainment of his large family as seamlessly as a spider constructs her web.

He is not a fighter. Previous altercations that he never speaks of left him unable to do more than tremble and cower in the face of any conflict; even minor scuffles or arguments within the clan will cause him to panic. Curved scars on his belly, resembling the sharpened hooves of a horse dragon, are the only hints of what happened to him in the past.
