Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

When Marine finally managed to get herself a striped dragon, she was overjoyed. Caring for the egg like it was a rare, the egg finally hatched. When it hatched, the hatchling was already very attached to Marine. The hatchling remained unnamed for quite a while, but the two loved one another. When the hatchling finally grew wings and got close to maturing, Marine named him Wave Prince because of his dazzling blue color. Wave Prince follows Marine almost everywhere and is closer to her than any other dragon she has ever had. He grew up on the day after Christmas and also shares a close bond with Winter Princess. Because of this, Christmas is his favorite holiday of all time. Oddly, he seems to really like cookies.
