Waterhorse Dragons received their name due to their horse-like physique and endearing behavior. They are capable of surviving out of water, and when on land their skin secretes a gelatinous goo to retain moisture. However, their large paddle feet are better suited for swimming, and waterhorse dragons tend to move very awkwardly when on land. Waterhorses are very friendly dragons and enjoy playing with humans.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Ripplerunner says she was first dragon to hatch and mature in the Scale Clan You might hear a different (a truer) story if you converse with Deathwood. Ripplerunner is somewhat proud. She has a hot temper, but is well meaning. She will lose her temper very easily, but is usually very sorry after. She prides herself in being different from all the other dragons, by her name. She has no 'scale' in her name. But is cold to any dragon who doesn't either. Ripplerunner is mortal enemies with Deathwood, who is the best fighter in the clan. They constantly fight over food, sleeping places, and a turn with the hatchlings. Sagescale is the only one who can break up their heated conversations and mini wars. Ripplerunner is happy that Snow-scale didn't choose Deathwood as his favorite female.
