Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Spikescale doesn't speak much, but when he does, it's usually always the same thing: "Anything is possible." He doesn't believe that there is anything that he can't do, and he tries to accomplish every challenge that someone gives him. He's completed every one of them except for one: "Try to fly." He's still working on it.

He never really gives up, and even suggesting something like "why don't we call it a day and not try this" will make him stare at you oddly. He's one of the hardest-working dragons that most people know. His friends admire his can-do attitude and think he's very inspirational and helpful, as well as one of the most important dragons in their group.
