Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kihin is one of the most dignified and noble of his kind. He takes great pride in his kind's ability to soar at nearly impossible speeds, but he never flaunts his talent or uses it to impress others. His only desire as he soars through the heavens is to maintain peace within the skies above. He often patrols the skies looking for anything that may endanger his kind or the people of the earth.

Due to his nomadic lifestyle few have ever seen Kihin face-to-face. Those who have, though, never forget the incredible sight of this dragon as he soars high above their heads seeking to rid the heavens of any threat to earthly dwellers. A silent, watchful guardian, whose noble actions are never completely accounted for, but always appreciated by those who know him. Dignity and quiet are his most treasured traits.
