Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Soarwhisper is a Warrior Dragon. In this particular cave, that does not necessarily mean fighting. Warriors hunt and protect their cave mates. Soarwhisper is a tricky dragon. He is especially good at distractions, filling opponents' and preys' heads with dreams. As a fighter and hunter, he is not the best, just holding others in a trance-like state and letting his cave mates do the actually hunting and fighting. Soarwhisper can be described as your basic "pretty boy." He believes he is better than the other males and females fall down at his feet at the chance to mate. Yet he is picky and seldom says yes. Many times Soarwhisper can be found staring at his reflection in a dreamy way, yet that will not keep him from being a very good friend.
