Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pavo is a natural born leader, but also a bit of a show-off. He was named after a constellation shaped like a peacock, since he too enjoys showing off in front of others (particularly females!). He is the leader of the Nova Pod, and nearly all the other Two-finned Blunas respect him. Unlike most of his kind, Pavo is not too fond of goofing off. Although nearly everyone knows that he secretly enjoys playing games, he feels it compromises his professional duties as leader, and makes him seem like a childish dragon.
