Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Glacil, which means "ice" in ancient draconic, spends much time with Isciore, and the two are nearly sisters.  However, unlike Isciore, Glacil is kind to all creatures, and craves attention.  In fact, Glacil has developed a way to figure skate, and her performances are legendary.  Even the fearful king and prince will venture out to see the amazing spectacle of Glacil's unique skating ability.  However, Glacil is unable to find true love, and easily gets lonely.

     While Glacil is usually quite peaceful, she is surprisingly active in the war.  And she is on an unexpected side.  Glacil has turned her back on her best friend because of her duty to the kingdom.  Few dragons know that Glacil was the third dragon in the clan, and knew Nokiran and Valcigni far before Isciore.

     Glacil has decided to be pro-mint, however, dislikes war and will avoid the battle itself.  While Isciore is clearly anti-mint, Glacil has remained friends with her, and hopes that they will remain friends no mat
