Falconiform Wyverns are normally shy creatures. However, when approached, they often feel threatened, and the flames along their bodies leap higher. Females tend to be smaller than males, though Falconiform Wyverns are typically rather large overall. They use their size to their advantage by hunting smaller dragons. The Falconiform’s graceful, swooping dives are said to resemble birds of prey. Falconiforms are largely solitary dragons that only meet in order to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Unpromise has a darker tale than other dragons in the Screaming Caverns; his past is not well spoken of for he is not one to tell willingly. When he was a hatchling, he saw the darker ways of his adoptive parents, a Vampire dragon and a violent Hellhorse dragon, he was bound to be violent and dark. He is known to scare hatchlings and discipline his kind with violence. No other dragon of his kind in the cave has dared to challenge him for the right to lead their species. Though rumors spread that he has beaten his young, he is quite the devoted parent and mate, besides his unusual and dangerous behavior. The Master of the Screaming Caverns even takes him occasionally on searches for eggs.
